  • Are you ready for Rock the Lot 2017?
The bands are locked in, last year's sponsors are signing up, the stage is ordered, food trucks lining up, beer & wine vendors committed, and if I can trust science, May 21st is supposed to be the nicest day of the year! Well...maybe....But HEY! We got some rain last year, it didn't dampen our spirits! Have you RSVP'd yet? Click on the facebook logo at the top right-hand side of the page, invite your friends! • Rain? What rain?
Me and my fellow Olney Days folks put a tremendous amount of time and effort into putting on this event, and all the weekends' festivities.

Rock The Lot has always been a RAIN OR SHINE event, so pray for gorgeous weather, but come either way, we gone par-tay! Everyone is tented, including food truck seating areas, and I've got  a bunch of rain ponchos just in case!

Wow! Is it that time already? Sorry for slacking, folks. This little outdoor concert of ours has grown by leaps and bounds, and it's been hard keeping up this year. And damn, I'm getting old...

SO! A bit of catching up:

Remember how cool it was to finally be able to enjoy a beer or glass of wine at this event, but what a bummer that you had to stay inside the "beer & wine garden"? Thanks to the diligence and tenacity of Jim Smith (the Acting Chair of the Olney Civic Fund and organizer of this effort since its debut in 2014), we are now allowed to roam the events grounds freely with our adult beverages. THANKS JIM!

-THANK YOU Shopper's Food & Pharmacy for picking up the tab for the stage again this year.

-We've got our own very talented music teacher Luke Schuster's band BURT THE DIRT opening the show at 4:00. Following that are three of Rocketeria's most talented bands, Infection X, Two Counts Of Silence, and Something Witty, and then the closers BLACK DOG PROWL

-There's still time to get involved. Fill out this form, or just email me ariana@rocketeria.biz
